Hong-Yeul Eom was raised in South Korea where he studied fine art, craft and design. He is a designer who pursues the integration of technology and aesthetic for disruptive market innovation. He is currently working as an independent design professional in London.
Heegun Koo is also a native to South Korea, where he studied design and engineering. With the ability to tell a compelling story through design, he is currently working with partners from various fields of electronics, fashion, and advertising companies in London.
Yan Lu is an expert in emotive and interactive design. His long list of successful projects has earned him global recognition. A native to mainland China, he graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009 and now lives and works in London.
Gaetano Ling is an American design engineer currently based in London. An expert in materials,robotics, and cutting edge technology, he previously worked as an engineer at Axcelis Technologies in Boston, designing and manufacturing particle accelerators for the semiconductor industry. He presently applies his creative range and technical expertise towards innovative products for a number of clients across Europe and America.

The Kims of Design represent a diverse creative collective who met while studying on the Innovation Design Engineering course at the Royal College of Art. Affectionately known by their peers as "The Kims," they represent a diverse practice within the design field, coming from all corners of the globe with extensive experience in creative and technical industries.Hong-Yeul Eom was raised in South Korea where he studied fine art, craft and design.
